Description:
Propolis is a natural resin created by bees, to make their hives. Propolis is made from the buds of conifer and poplar tress and combined with beeswax and other bee secretions.
More than 180 compounds have been identified in propolis, and many are biologically active. Flavonoids are abundant, including many that are anti-inflammatory, antiallergenic, antioxidant and/or antimutagenic and antispasmodic.
