Description:

Propolis is a natural resin created by bees, to make their hives. Propolis is made from the buds of conifer and poplar tress and combined with beeswax and other bee secretions.
More than 180 compounds have been identified in propolis, and many are biologically active. Flavonoids are abundant, including many that are anti-inflammatory, antiallergenic, antioxidant and/or antimutagenic and antispasmodic. Propolis is uniquely rich in properties which have been shown to inhibit cancer growth in animal studiesand reduce inflammation as effectively as drugs.
Propolis also contains organic acids and their derivatives. These constituents contribute antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral effects.
